Flowing Water Found on Mars
December 8th 2006 08:37
The Age reports that pictures taken by NASA's Mars Global Surveyor show liquid has flowed on the surface of Mars in the last five years. This greatly increases the chances of life on the Red Planet.
The images only found evidence of water flowing on the surface and then evaporating, is this a significant find or are we getting over excited?

It should be good to know if there are signs or life or if there is a chance of creating a living environment in the possible future. Just in case Earth die out on us. I think those Sci-Fi movies like "Total Recall" would have something to do about what Science may be trying to do.
Then again, discovering something new about our galaxy is always an exciting thing I suppose. Like the "10th planet"

As you say I think at the moment NASA are excited as this means there could be microbes living in water beneath the surface of Mars.
