“It’s 3AM and your children are safe and asleep. Who do you want answering the phone?”
This is the question asked in the new national security ad unveiled by the Hillary Clinton campaign today. The ad , titled "Children," illustrates Hillary Clinton's strength and experience for the presidency.
"One of the most important duties of the President," said retired General Wesley Clark, 'is ensuring the safety of the American people." He continued, "Inevitably, another national security crisis will occur. And when it does, voters shouldn’t have to wonder whether their President will be ready. As President, Hillary will be ready to act swiftly and decisively."
Retired General John Watkins agreed, saying, "The stakes for our nation have never been higher. As someone who has met with world leaders and is a leader on national security in the US Senate, I am confident that Hillary Clinton is ready to serve as our nation’s Commander in Chief on day one. She would come to the job more prepared than most of our recent Presidents and certainly with better judgment."
Confident that Hillary Clinton will re-establish our moral authority and our leadership throughout the world, former Secretary of the Navy John Dalton said, "America faces a number of daunting challenges. I am confident that Hillary Clinton will meet these challenges and that she has the experience and judgment necessary to be Commander-in-Chief today."

That ad is nothing more than the same blatant fear mongering that has characterised the Bush Whitehouse for the past 8 years.
My feeling is that many people will read it the same way - Hilary has just lost my support for this idiotic advertisement. It shows she has no idea about running for office. It is a stunt of the cheapest kind - I hope she now loses the vice presidency.
What an embarrasment

I only have an observers point of view ... and that too, as an non nationalist outsider... but I am very interested to even think that 'American-might,' would put itself under the rulership of a woman... that would truly be a landmark, wouldn't it?
It has not been the custom of the modern world, to charge it's army to a woman... and yet history has shown that where it has occurred, true progress has also been made.
Will history repeat itself here?
A very interesting time to be alive, is it not?
